„Zone of the Dead,“ a zombie feature filmed in the city of Pancevo, Serbia and PFI Studios in 2008, was awarded in two categories at the Film Meetings Festival in Nis, Serbia. The traditional film festival took place from the 22nd – 28th of August.

Vukota Brajovic received the “Best Actor-Producer” award. The world’s most famous zombie killer, Ken Foree (best known for his role in "Dawn of the Dead") received the “Special Emperor Constantine Award for Extraordinary Acting Achievement.”

 “Zone of the Dead” follows two Interpol agents, Mortimer Reyes (played by Ken Foree) and Mina Milius (played by Kristina Klebe), who have to transport a prisoner across a toxin-infected area that turns humans into zombies.
