AIRPINK INKS DEAL TO PURCHASE TWO NEW CITATION JETS FROM THE U.S. AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER CESSNA
The European Representative for the U.S. aircraft manufacturer, Cessna, and Zeljko Mitrovic, the owner of Pink International and Airpink, signed an agreement for the purchase of two new Cessna Citation aircraft.
Founded in 2004, Airpink became a regional pioneer in business jet services for corporate and VIP travellers. Airpink’s business has continuously expanded since its inaugural flight. As a result, Airpink is now undergoing an expansion and upgrade of its fleet.
Pursuant to the agreement, Airpink is purchasing one mid-size Citaion XLS+ that has a stand-up cabin comfort with a stylish interior for passengers. The aircraft can carry up to 9 passengers. The XLS+ is the business world’s best-selling aircraft. The second aircraft is the light jet CJ2+ which carries 6-7 passengers. Both these jets incorporate the latest Cessna technology.Delivery of the planes is slated for mid-2008 and 2009.
This transaction follows up other transactions completed earlier this year by Airpink where two aircraft were purchased from the U.S. secondary aircraft market.
