THE MOTION PICTURE „CHANGE ME“ PRODUCED BY PFI STUDIOS WAS SHOWN AT THE FIRST SERBIAN FILM FESTIVAL THAT HAS JUST END UP IN NOVI SAD.
The movie encountered extremely positive reactions from the audience, which has rewarded it several times with the grand applause during the film projection, as well as from numerous accredited journalists.This movie will play also at the Sopot Film Festival on Friday, the 13th of July.
"CHANGE ME" is romantic comedy by genre. Paragons, although genre’s framework bears on american movie classification, are based upon good oldfashioned comedies expressing certain melancholy. "CHANGE ME" is not a "retro" story. On the contrary. It happens here and now, and the heros are easy recognizable characters from our everyday life. "CHANGE ME" is a little bit of a melancholic commedy, a story about an ordinary man who falls deep into troubles by searching for emotions and running after his dream, while small human longing transformes into a big problem. "CHANGE ME" is a film about the generation relationships, about the young people striving to find their own ways, and the older ones trying to fool their own age and themselves."CHANGE ME", as the title itself says, is the movie about the ethernal urge for changes, even when they become foolish and unsuitable.Eminent Belgrade's dentist lives in a harmonious marriage. His friends, expressing so called „outgoing teenage syndrom“ - a period of critical age for men when they intensify their efforts to stay young, provoke contempt and anger for our hero/main character. He is an accomplished and self-contented man. But love happens to him when least expected, in time he thought he is absolutely immune for a such sensation. Suddenly he wants to change in order to overcome this emotional and erotic challenge. He gives up on himself trying to become somebody else.A young girl with her relationship in crisis, ambitious to stand alone and to become emancipated, meets the hero of this story and becomes the driver of his changes.A mature and beautiful woman occurs in situation to choose between the man she lived with for 25 years and who has cheated on her, and the unexpected and unwished, but attractive and alluring freedom. "CHANGE ME" is a movie about their changes."CHANGE ME" is a film made up of lots of laughter and a little bit of sorrow, ambitious to bring back audience into the cinemas, by telling this nicely narrated story and characters which are authentic and recognisable.
