Pink Films International, or PFI Studios, announces that the filming of a new movie, Obituary for Escobar, has started. The film is being directed by Milorad Milinkovic (“Debeli”).
Lead roles in the film have been cast by some of Serbia’s most visible actors today: Vojin Cetkovic, Tamara Garbajs, Jelisaveta Sekom Sablic, Nikola Simic Mladen Nelevic, Zijah Sokolovic, Boris Milivojevic, Boris Komnenic, Nenad Jezdic, Katarina Markovic and many other known actors. Based on the life of Latin American drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, a black comedic perspective is adopted in this crime film.
Obituary for Escobar will premiere in theatres in the fall.
